Paying homage to its home in Stratford, The Gantry’s new East London Afternoon Tea is a celebration of East London’s rich heritage and famous culinary delights.

Impeccably presented with a side order of fun, our Afternoon Tea menu is the perfect way to experience all the flavours of East London in a beautiful atmosphere, overlooking the skyline of Stratford. Guests can try East End classics like mini fish ‘n’ chips and Brick Lane’s mini salt beef beigels, alongside British favourites like brioche sandwiches with aged Cheddar Gorge cheese, cultured butter, and homemade red onion jam.

British heritage fruit scones are served with Cornish clotted cream and homemade field strawberry preserve and a fun twist on the famous East End delicacy, a ‘Jellied Eel’ consisting of retro Champagne jelly, fruit gummies and strawberry dust, as well as a selection of chocolate biscuits to pair superbly with The Gantry’s tea and coffees.

The East London Afternoon Tea is priced at £25, and for those wanting to add an extra tipple or two, guests can try an East London Gin & Tonic, or glass of English sparkling wine for an additional £7.

The Afternoon Tea will take place every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
